Gordon, the vocalist and founder of the band, wanted to go back to his roots of recording music with real instruments after his fully digital double albums of Lost & Found Pt. 1 & Pt. 2. He wanted to combine what he had learned from his time in Just 6 Hours and time making Lost & Found and turn it into something new. To represent this combination of two different styles coming together to form one idea, he decided to wear a pair of 3D glasses.

Bassicorn was born a normal horse who was befriended by Gordon and given the name Horsey Horse. Gordon noticed his love of the bass guitar and would always play him songs. When Horsey Horse passed on he was reborn as a mythical unicorn with the power to shape shift into a bass guitar and produce the finest of bass lines. He found his way back into Gordon's life and now entrusts Gordon with the power to play him when he shape shifts into his bass form.

RAM was a robot developed by Dr. Lankton and was infused with the memories of a deceased man by the name of Dante. This caused RAM to go rouge and seek out the life Dante wanted to live. Dr. Lankton's assistant Blake was sent out to retrieve RAM. While escaped RAM traveled to a park where Gordon just so happened to be visiting as well. Once Blake was able to capture RAM, Dr. Lankton had him wiped and disposed of. When the news got out of Dr. Lankton's failure Gordon took it upon himself to find RAM and reboot him but this time with the memories of an old musician friend of his, Josh Garns. With his new found life RAM has taken on the role of keyboard/synth player, otamatone player, and background vocalist.

Jaks is a Phoenix who presented itself to Gordon when Gordon was at his lowest as a symbol of future prosperity that will come out of the current suffering. Gordon named the Phoenix Jaks as a representation of his past traumas. Each letter representing an event that had happened. The two grew close and Jaks took up and interest in a small instrument of Gordon's called the melodica. Jaks was gifted one by Gordon as a symbol of thanks. Jaks returned the favor by giving new life to Horsey Horse in the form of Bassicorn. Jaks also helped Gordon reboot RAM into a fully functioning AI.

Mephisto Launch was an astronaut who was lost in space after an engine failure on his trip through the solar system. He drifted for days before a team of astronauts were sent to rescue him. While many would think this experience would have traumatized him, it actually allowed him to enhance his senses and he takes the experience as a blessing. He clearly remembered the moment he felt awoken in his new found mind and found an artist, by the name of Megan, to paint out every detail of what he saw. He had it permanently added to his visor as a constant reminder of what that moment was like. With his new found abilities he was able to hear things in space that were undetectable even by satellite. He tracked down Gordon when he saw a listing for needed musicians and took the opportunity to display what he had heard through the use of a theremin.

While out for delivery, the Milkman overheard music coming from Gordon's house. He fancied himself a pretty good dulcimer player and dabbled in other string instruments but wished to keep his identity anonymous. To do so he donned a black mask covering his entire head with nothing but a white question mark on it. He then put on his Milkman hat and auditioned for a role. Gordon gladly took him in and was inspired by many of the Milkman's stories.

Gordon needed a group to play percussion for the band and saw an ad for Conductor Morris, the greatest percussion conductor in the world. Gordon clearly was intrigued and immediately invited Conductor Morris and his crew to come try out. Gordon decided to pick him up at the train station. Little did he know Morris’ Conductor title had two meanings. A small train made up of only a locomotive and two caboose cars pulled into the station. Conductor Morris stepped out of the train and introduced himself. That's when he informed Gordon that he brought his whole group with him and from the caboose cars poured out a group of fourteen moose. Their group was known as Meese Cabeese and they had decided to join forces with Gordon to form the new band.

In the middle of the first practice all together, the band was interrupted by obnoxious honking coming from outside. Gordon opened the front door to see what all the commotion was about and on his doorstep was a goose holding a harmonica and a kazoo. Goose never introduced himself, he just honked and walked right in. The band had decided it must have been fate and so Goose joined the band as the final member.
